The program consists of market and industry knowledge-building panels and round-table conversations, company visits and networking events. The Trade Mission is directed towards repertoire owners of Nordic music, management companies, music publishers and labels.
The program will be tailored for artist export in pop genres, music publishers/songwriter export and sync catalogue owners. Maximum four Danish delegates can attend.
In 2019, for the first time, NOMEX is also hosting a Trade Mission side program for film composers who should contact their local Export Office about participation, application process and support.
In 2018, the trade mission program introduced the Nordic delegation to more than 40 local music industry professionals and the networking events hosted more than 180 local professionals.
In the past few years Nordic group has visited companies such as Apple Music, Spotify, Kobal/AWAL, Fox Music and Paradigm Agency Group among others.
In addition to the meetings and seminars, the delegates get to meet many more local music industry players at the networking reception hosted by the Finnish Consulate in Los Angeles.
