The Nordic music industry proudly announces the 2026 edition of the Nordic Music Biz Top 20 Under 30, celebrating the most promising young professionals shaping the future of music across the region. The Top 20 Under 30 list was created to spotlight emerging talent and ensure continued innovation and renewal in the Nordic music industry. The award highlights the strong collaborative spirit of the Nordic countries in promoting talent and exporting music to international markets.
A New Strategy to Strengthen Nordic Music Exports in a Changing Global Landscape
NOMEX is a pan-Nordic platform founded in 2012 and owned by the five music export offices in the Nordic region: Music Norway, Export Music Sweden, Music Export Denmark, Music Finland, and Iceland Music. From 2024 Faroe Island Music Export joined NOMEX as an associative member.
NOMEX launches its 2026–2029 strategy, outlining how Nordic music exports will adapt to a global landscape shaped by digital transformation, shifting market dynamics, and growing geopolitical complexity.
NOMEX TRADE MISSION TO TOKYO, JAPAN - OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
Since 2013, the annual Nordic trade mission takes place in Tokyo by the end of the year. The mission connects Nordic music professionals with their Japanese counterparts, facilitates networking and meetings between the Nordic and the Japanese music industries and builds Nordic music companies’ export capacity and market knowledge of Japan.
NOMEX TRADE MISSION TO MEXICO CITY - OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
Mexico, along with the entire Latin American region, has continuously experienced remarkable growth and offers enormous opportunities for international music both online and live, including a diverse live sector and an incredibly loyal fanbase.
During the trade mission coming up i November 2026, we will focus on four days of networking and knowledge sharing.
